Dr. Macel Ely

Dr. Macel Ely co-founded BMI with his wife Carol. Having ministered for over 30 years, it was Dr. Ely's desire to create a ministry that would minister to a group that many times is forgotten. This group consists of pastors, their spouses, and their children.

Pastors and their families are constantly ministering to the needs of others, but who stands in the gap for them? Recognizing this great harvest for ministry, the vision for BMI was birthed. According to Dr. Ely, "When a pastor is refreshed, an entire congregation reaps such wonderful benefits."

Dr. Ely is presently networking with pastors, churches, and individuals across the globe, that recognize the need to minister to ministers. He has earned a Masters of Divinity and Doctorate in Theology from International Seminary in Plymouth, Florida; and is a favorite conference speaker among a wide-range of religious denominations and ministries. Dr. Ely also serves as a presbyter, advisor, and overseer of many congregations within the U.S. and other nations abroad.

Carol Ely

Carol Ely for many years has ministered to women of all ages on the importance of finding their role in the Kingdom of God. Called to be a missionary as a small child, Carol was uncertain as to why the Lord would have her serve as a pastor’s wife for so many years early on in her ministry.

Now as she travels across the nation and literally around the globe with the ministry of BMI, it is clear what God had in mind for this ‘called-out’ missionary so many years ago.

Carol has served as a mentor and friend to many wives in ministry. She is an alumnus from Central Bible College and has served on a wide number of charitable boards and committees for various organizations.

Throughout the many years of their ministry, the Elys have hosted several pastors’ conferences reaching literally thousands of clergy and their spouses with words of encouragement and assistance. Carol is highly requested as a guest speaker at women’s conferences and retreats and loved by all who hear her speak.
